How to Be an Observer During Practice
❔After online meditations with Master, many of you share that “it’s difficult to imagine yourself as the observer” or “it’s unclear how to be an observer.”
Often, the mistake is to try to visualise oneself from the outside, or to search for an “object” to observe. At the retreat satsang, Master Imram gave a deeper explanation of this process:
“We observe those who speak, those who hear, those who meditate. We are watching the watcher.”
It is important not to focus on external form or search for answers within the thinking mind. The state of the witness is not an image of “yourself from the outside,” but the recognition of formless presence.
