“You are the embodiment of the divine power. Never lower this bar. If you keep remembering this and do something for this, you will meet with yourself. Always be aware of who you are, and try to go towards it”

⬆️ In this interview fragment, Imram and Marshall Govindan (world‑renowned author of books on Kriya yoga, including “Babaji and the 18 Siddha Kriya Yoga Tradition”) discuss why reading books is only the first step, and why the live transmission of Knowledge is essential for deep transformation.

Books provide you a road map. They give you guidance about the obstacles and the objectives of practicing. But to begin the journey, you need a “vehicle” – energy and techniques that can only be transmitted through personal initiation.

Quantum Leap: Direct Contact with the Higher Self

Higher intentions — “to attain Samadhi,” “to know I Am,” “to discover one’s purpose” — require more than effort alone; they require an expansion of perception. To know the Truth, we must tune our “receiver” to a different frequency.

What Direct Transmission in Yoga Really Means

In yoga, there is a concept that is difficult to explain in words, but easy to feel. It is known as direct transmission.
We usually associate learning with explanations, techniques, and theory. But in yoga, there is also another level of interaction between teacher and student — one that exists beyond words.

When a practitioner is able to sit in silence, meditation stops being merely a method of self-observation. It becomes a subtle form of communication. If someone has never practised meditation, it can be difficult for them to recognise this process. They simply do not yet have the means to perceive it.

In the yogic tradition, meditating alongside an experienced practitioner is considered an important part of learning. Students would often come to Masters simply to sit quietly nearby and meditate together. Outwardly, nothing appears to happen, yet inwardly there is a shift — a change of state.

This is what is known as direct transmission. It is not information, not a technique, and not an energetic influence. It is a state of shared presence in the moment that helps deepen meditation practice. To experience it, all that is needed is attentiveness and awareness — the ability to remain in silence without being swept away by thoughts, while staying inwardly open.

After our online meditations, many people describe similar experiences: a deeper state, a calmer mind, and concentration that comes more easily than when practising alone.

Why Your Energy Levels Drop

From the perspective of Kriya Yoga, low energy and exhaustion are caused not only by external pressure or the physical body, but also by a reduction in the vibrational frequency of our centres of consciousness.

Chakras — the Body’s Energy Distributors

In Kriya, chakras are seen as subtle energy centres connected to specific areas of the body, the nervous system, and the endocrine system. They act as distributors of life force throughout the body temple.

When the conductivity of a centre decreases, energy can no longer flow freely. This immediately affects our psycho-emotional state — we lose touch with our own potential.

Ways to Attune the Body’s Systems

To restore inner balance and optimise the body’s systems, Kriya uses practices such as body energisation, Guru Pranam, pranayama, and meditation techniques.

🔸 In the “Basic Course of Kriya Meditation,” Master Imram shared special techniques:

• Chakra activation — a technique for awakening the main spinal centres.
• Advanced Kriya technique — for working with special channels to accelerate the evolution of consciousness. This technique helps to “switch on” eight important meridians in the body.
• Soma Kriya — a technique that helps slow ageing by working with soma, or amrita, and focusing on a special energy centre inside the head.

The “Basic Course” includes 18 techniques: breathing practices, basic and advanced meditation and body magnetisation, and methods of scientific concentration and relaxation. It consists of three lessons and a webinar with Master.

You’ll have unlimited access to the course recordings.

WEEK OF MORNING PRACTICES: REFLECTIONS

Our channel’s seven-day cycle of Morning Practices has now drawn to a close. For many of you, this has been an important step in building consistency and discipline — essential qualities for self-development.

Highlights from the Past Week

• Consistency: following the practice routines each day.
• Learning: exploring Kriya terminology and techniques.
• Resonance: creating a shared field that strengthens each individual’s experience.
• Changes: beginning to reshape habits by consciously directing attention.

The most valuable result is your presence in the practice and your willingness to explore within. As Master Imram often says: “The great lies within the small.” It’s the small, daily actions that build a stable state of awareness.

All the meditations will remain available on this channel. You can continue with shorter meditations on your own, and join the longer group sessions every Saturday. We’ll certainly be running more weeks of joint practice in the future.

🔸We invite you to reflect on the week and note the changes you’ve experienced. This will help you organise your experience and see your progress more clearly. Please share:

· What changes have you noticed in your state over these seven days?
· Have you noticed any shifts in the quality of your concentration?
· Were you able to integrate the morning practice into your daily routine — and how did it affect your day?

Your responses will help us shape future programmes to make them even more effective for your practice.

Trust your own experience and inner strength.

Shifting from Activity to Deep Relaxation

To wake earlier and practise effectively, your brain and nervous system need proper rest at night.

🔸Tips for Evening Relaxation

• Create a harmonious space. Keep things quiet to steady your emotional background – stick to gentle conversation, avoiding news or work talk.
• Light matters. Dim the lights 1–2 hours before bed – use warm lighting. Switch your phone to night mode. Sleep in full darkness. Use an eye mask if needed. Darkness supports natural melatonin production and deeper rest, regardless of outside light.
• Slow the mind. Reading or quiet creative activities in the evening help the brain switch into a slower, sleep-ready state.
• Relax the body. A quiet walk or a warm bath helps release muscle tension and prepares the nervous system for a restful night.
• Evening practice. Kriya Nidra is especially effective before sleep. A special technique recommended by Master Imram supports deep relaxation and releases tension in body and mind. It helps you disengage from external distractions and immerses your nervous system in a state of deep recovery.

🔸Consistency in these actions helps overwrite the habit of tension, restoring the body’s natural ability for self-recovery.

· If you’re taking Master Imram’s “Kriya Nidra” course, alternate the practices throughout the week.
· If not, try a short session in your GetCourse account under “Short Meditations.” The practice is free. Registration link

Stay tuned to your inner Source.
