The Dangers of Intense Pranayamas

Some schools of yoga offer active breathing techniques. However, it is believed that frequent and rapid breathing can deplete energy and life force and may even shorten one’s lifespan.

In Kriya, breathwork is guided by other principles. Its methods are designed to lower carbon dioxide and oxygenate the body through conscious inhalation, with focused attention on specific areas and centres, followed by equally mindful exhalation.

As we gradually lengthen and balance the breath, the mind becomes calm, the heartbeat slows, and attention stabilises. This takes time.

Gradually, the number of breaths decreases and remains steady even during physical activities like sports. With consistent practice, the breath naturally finds a new rhythm, without the need for long retention.

One of the most effective Kriya breathing techniques is known as “14 Kriyas.” This practice naturally adjusts the breathing rhythm, soothes the mind, reduces anxiety, balances the emotions, and revitalises the body with energy.

The method of “14 Kriyas” is taught at the “Six Steps of Self-Realisation” seminar along with other techniques forming one unified, holistic system. The course begins with basic practices and progresses step by step as your mastery deepens.

❇️ Friends, join us for the upcoming seminar in Berlin this weekend, 22–23 November. Discover structured Kriya techniques, including breathing methods, for consistent and independent practice.

Life Split into Before and After

In a new video, the couple Natalia and Ivan share how, before they met, they both yearned for a truly happy relationship — and how the regular practice of Kriya Yoga has transformed not just their worldview but every area of their lives: their health, business, family life, and even their interactions with their children.

Their inspiring experience reveals a simple truth: inner work is what matters most. When you step on the path of self-transformation, everything around you harmoniously falls into place.

“I had gone to the seminar still carrying questions. But when I left, not a single question remained. The answers are always within. I discovered complete trust in life and a sense of homecoming.”

May the wonderful results achieved by Natalia and Ivan inspire many others on their path of self-development! Enjoy the video!

Correct Breathing

Slow, controlled breathing helps reduce stress, enhance concentration, and positively influence both the cardiovascular and nervous systems — as confirmed by modern scientific research.

Ancient yogic science teaches the same: the calmer the breath, the healthier the body and the clearer the mind.

Yoga masters have long known that when we inhale, we are not merely drawing in air — we are absorbing prana, the life energy. When the energy channels are purified, the body is nourished not only by oxygen but directly by the flow of prana itself. By slowing down the breath, we begin to master the very energy of life — and in doing so, we lengthen our lifespan.

Proper breathing forms the foundation of pranayama, that in turn opens the path to profound practice and longevity.

In Kriya, great importance is given to breathing and pranayama — the queen of yoga.

At the seminar, Master will explain step by step how to:

✨ cleanse and activate the energy channels,
✨ slow the breath effortlessly,
✨ learn to distribute prana throughout the body,
✨ move from habitual breathing to conscious breathing.

The seminar programme includes both foundational techniques for a gentle introduction and advanced techniques incorporating correct breath retention.

The techniques are completely safe, and their effects are felt immediately as a deep sense of calm, clarity, and fulfilment. Combined with proper concentration, these breathing practices strengthen the energy system, transform the breathing process, and ultimately improve the quality of life.

❇️ We invite you to the upcoming seminar in Berlin on November, 22-23. Programme and registration.

How many years of our lives vanish into phones and social networks? Friends, have you ever stopped to think about this?

We spend countless hours before screens — and often emerge feeling drained, empty, or irritable. And this is no accident.

The Internet thrives on our attention. Social media offers instant gratification, yet robs us of our ability to concentrate, to feel deeply, and to create.

Whatever influences the mind inevitably influences consciousness.

A consciousness meant for creation becomes an instrument of mere reaction. That is why, now more than ever, we must reclaim the lost art of concentration — the ability to remain focused and turn it inward rather than letting it scatter in the outer world. This is precisely what we cultivate through practice.

It is telling that even the creators of modern technology impose limits on its use. Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, didn’t allow his children to use iPads. Pavel Durov has also confessed that he deliberately limits his screen time — to stay focused and shape his life with awareness. Parents worldwide are becoming increasingly concerned about phone dependency among teenagers.

Of course, technology has its bright side.

Social networks can be beneficial: they help us stay connected, offer inspiring ideas, and contribute to our all-round development. The real question, however, is not about technology itself — but about how consciously we approach its use.

HOW TO BECOME HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE?

Those who don’t develop lose themselves. They can be good actors, singers or musicians, but, unfortunately, it’s not enough to be happy. When you play and do what you like, you are happy. What about the rest of the time? Where is that endless happiness? All this is very short-lived. Where is the ever-lasting experience? It’s an internal state.  This is why it’s good to practise creativity. But when we commit to self-development and creativity arises out of our inner spiritual state, this is a universal experience. And it doesn’t matter then whether you own real estateor not. You are just happy.

Gratitude

In a new video, Imram explores gratitude as an aspect of love, acceptance, and the desire to share what we possess. He also shares his understanding of how one should rightly approach the opportunity to help others.

Video premiere today at 4 PM UTC
Watch the video

During the video, you will also discover:

  • What we put into the word “thank you”
  • Why one can be grateful even for life challenges
  • What helps to realise intentions
  • Why one should not expect gratitude in return
  • What contributes to boosting family bonds
  • How to rightly approach friendship and helping parents

When you share everything you have, your very self, the energy intensifies. You don’t lose anything. In fact, the process is enhanced: they have 100, and you still have 100. And when two people share their energy in this way, it can increase by thousands of percent. That is why the more we act with love and kindness — and gratitude is the doorway through which we accept what we are offered — the more we invite the highest, the brightest, and unconditional energies of happiness into our lives…

Imram

We wish you well-being and harmony with yourself and others! Enjoy the video!

How to Improve Concentration

Concentration is not a strain of the mind, but a state of composure. Concentration, when practised correctly, does not create tension; rather, it leads to deep focus through relaxation.

In Kriya, we distinguish three levels of concentration:

1. Concentration on the body and sensations. Attention can be directed towards the spine, the breath, or the flow of prana. This helps energise the body, refine sensitivity, improve health, and stabilise the body’s energy.

2. Concentration through visualisation. Attention is focused upon a thought, image, or idea.
This practice cultivates mental clarity and the ability not to lose oneself amidst the stream of thoughts.

3. Concentration through work with consciousness. Attention turns inward — towards the divine presence within.

If you practise correctly, the energy will remain within you. The essential tool to achieve this is the power of concentration, cultivated through understanding and determination born from regular practice. This is what helps you enter meditation.

Imram

Kriya is a method of scientific concentration — not merely an exercise, but a key to perfection in every aspect of your being: body, mind, creativity, and life itself.

You are warmly invited to join us for a two-day seminar where you’ll be introduced to Kriya techniques of scientific concentration, supported by Master’s explanation, and learn to:

✅ Focus attention so that energy does not dissipate
✅ Enter a state of calm and clarity at any moment
✅ Use concentration as a tool in both life and meditation
✅ Focus without strain
✅ Transform inner composure into actions, words, and thoughts

The upcoming “Six Steps of Self-Realisation” seminar with Imram will be held in Berlin on 22–23 November. Follow this link to register.
