When you say to a person: “Start thinking positively,” he says, “How can one think positively when everything is so bad everywhere?” Stop seeing the bad and start seeing the good. One should only speak about the good. We focus our attention on not very positive things. We don’t like rubbish, we don’t like the view, we don’t like many things.
People pay attention to what they don’t like, instead of thinking about what they would like to be. We must fill the space of our brains, the space of the mind with the positive.
