Why is there a sense of guilt when you miss a practice session?
Let there be some guilt. What else would motivate people to practise? If people don’t feel guilty, how can they pull themselves together and force themselves to do something? Guilt is a voice of conscience. And when a person feels that this aspect of their life is very important, their soul starts to force them, to remind them that they need to practise, that they missed yesterday: “How come I wasn’t satiated, I didn’t get the necessary amount of love, of experiences.” That’s what guilt is all about.
Conscience and guilt are different things. Guilt is the result of conscience waking up and reminding our personality, our mind, that you have done wrong, you have failed. However, people don’t skip lunch or dinner. But for some reason they sometimes forget to feed the Soul.
