All images are generated by the mind. As I am looking at you now, I remember you. If I want to recall you later, your image will come to mind. But I’ll still be aware that it’s an illusion, because it’s outside the present moment. Not here and not now. It comes from the past. Any thought comes from the past. When you mentally try to focus your consciousness on the body, you’ll recall: “Well, Imram said  I should sit straight. Okay, I am sitting straight.” It’s fine, it’s correct. But there will come a moment for Imram to disappear. Only the one who is will remain.
