Master Imram recommends a very simple and effective way to get rid of bad habits: “Take a piece of paper and divide it into two columns. In the left-hand column write your bad habits, and in the right-hand column write what you want to have instead. For example, if you write in the left-hand column “I’m lazy”, you should write on the right-hand side: “I’m strong-minded”, “I demonstrate will-power”, and so on. Make a list of points in this way. Then burn the left-hand, negative list away and fully switch your attention to the right-hand list: to a kind of person you’d like to be. Now you should work out each of the points. You can either work out all the points together or reread them regularly one by one and work out each point separately.”
