“It is possible and even necessary to practice Kriya during pregnancy, because Kriya is a deep state of acceptance of everything that happens to a person. But Kriya pranayamas can only be performed with the Master’s guidance. At different periods – different modes. Depending on the period, some type of pranayama may be offered or removed. You can, however, do sitting energization, meditation on sound, on light, meditation on breathing and 42 Kriyas. In the later term, it is advisable not to do mahamudra in the form in which it is usually given, and guru-pranam with bends, so as not to pressure the fetus.”
