The Science of Kriya reduces the distance between the limited
human consciousness and the infinite Cosmic consciousness.

The Himalayas are not just mountains, they are a symbol of the inner height of consciousness. The peak of Mount Kailash
is within us,
where we rise above everything and reach this
height, meeting face-to-face with the Higher Self.

Master who practices Kriya with a group transmits spiritual power directly as a personal experience — the tradition of transmitting this power is foundational. When people come to Master, they come for spiritual power and Master transmits this power.

A lot of interesting events take place at Imram Kriya Retreats. So many people receive transformational energy, specific currents and powerful energising. This happens as a direct transfer of Master Imram’s knowledge and personal experience.

A retreat is a daily work of acceleration, a quantum shift...
Master Imram

What does a day at the retreat look like?

retreat_sqr_003

Every day at the retreat you practice with the group under the guidance of Master, work through the 6 stages of Kriyas learned at the seminar — 42 Kriyas, sitting energisation, breathing meditation, Sound meditation and Light meditation, as well as advanced techniques.

  • Our day starts with morning practice —
    2.5 hours.
  • After lunch, a second session with Master —
    2-2.5 hours.
  • In the evening, after dinner, we get together for Satsang — 3 hours.

Satsang is a unique opportunity to ask questions, talk to Master, understand what we practice for, how it works and how to apply this knowledge in everyday life. Master answers to all sorts of questions from the Kriya perspective: regarding health, family, relationships, meditation, spiritual practices, the laws of the universe and the Great Teachers of mankind.

During the satsang we not only get awareness and food for thought, but we also get in touch with higher Knowledge, with Master's experience — this changes us and accelerates our evolution.

A retreat is a continuation of training, deepening into practice and consolidation of the techniques learned at the seminar. It is an intensive practice with Master, where you can get his support and ask your questions at daily satsangs.

After the seminar, the participants always feel inspired and have a great desire to practice. Retreats, as well as meetings with Master and like-minded people, give great support and encourage to develop faster.

The effort required during the retreat

During the daily practice at the retreat, participants intensively receive and assimilate a large flow of energy and information, thus elevating their consciousness. It is a powerful form of awakening, but it also requires effort — Master helps to deal with it.

Effort means a greater influx of life force. Our nerve endings are not always ready for this and then it feels like our body is in pain during the practice, but in reality it is the influx of energy and the assimilation process.

The 42 energising exercises allow you to absorb this energy, open up our nerve endings and teach our body cells to be aware of their highest nature, then the energy is absorbed even more. There is a great power in our cells, and this power, while gradually awakening, begins to realise its true nature.

How a free day is spent

During the intensive work at the retreat, you receive an enormous amount of power, subtle material power, transcendental energies which, as they accumulate in the body, gradually open up your centres. It takes some time to assimilate this energy.

To do this, the retreat schedule includes a day when we reduce the workload. On this day, we go out to picturesque places and visit places of power, assimilating energy in a passive practice. When we communicate with each other, our practice is going on.

The free day at the retreat is important for the participants. It is a day for absorbing energy.

On the outside, the day is spent on contemplation, socialising and new experiences. But there is a deep work going on inside. Participants absorb the energies received and learn to be in a state of peace and quite in everyday life.

The next day, all practitioners feel, especially on the physical plane, that the practice is going deeper. During the free day, Master keeps working towards their inner transformation, so that the energy fills all levels of consciousness in the bodies and begins to work towards accelerating human evolution.

Retreat venue

retreat_sqr_005

Retreats are a deep, intense practice, so they are held in places that are full of living energy, prana, and clean air. Such conditions help you switch more quickly from an active social life in the city to inner work.

The venue for the Imram Kriya retreat is the Rosa Khutor, resort area of Sochi. The mountain village, where all practices take place and retreat participants live, is located on the banks of a river and surrounded by the peaks of the Caucasus Mountains and forests.

Rosa Khutor is one of the most beautiful holiday destinations at the altitude of 1200m above sea level. The grandeur and beauty of the environment invites contemplation, practices and helps one to tune into inner silence and break from the everyday worries.

In your free time you can walk along the seaside promenade, take a trip on the picturesque trails by cable car or bicycle.

For 9 days, you will practice in a place of strength, breathe in clean air and admire the vast, scenic spaces and mountainous landscapes. The knowledge and energy gained during practice is more easily absorbed in such places.

At the 9-day retreat, there is a practice-free day when we all take excursions, walk and socialise together.

Rosa Khutor is offering activities for children, so many participants come to the retreat with their families.

What is a true resort? It's our ability to calm the mind. On the outside it is the mountains, beautiful landscapes that have a special radiance. People enjoy being in such places — it harmonizes the outside space, and then it is much easier for us to immerse ourselves inside...

Interview of the Master about the retreat

Retreat_slide2__

The method of accelerated evolution

Kriya yoga is a tool that allows a person to accelerate their evolution. Through the practice of Kriya, the intuition is awakened effortlessly. By energising every cell of the body, the specific centres, we awaken the neurons and the parts of the brain. We become able to receive and absorb more energy-information, higher knowledge beyond ordinary understanding.

Kriya yoga teaches how, by controlling the process of breathing, one can calm the mind and reach higher states of consciousness. When a disciple learns to feel the very subtle channels within the spine, they get closer to the High Techniques.

10 minutes of Kriya practice is equivalent to 20 years of natural human evolution....

During the Highest Kriya practice: one conscious breath is one year of evolution, which corresponds to our solar system’s cosmic cycle of rotation, with its planetary consciousness.

Frequently asked questions

Can I come to the retreat without any training?

Before the retreat you have to attend an Imram Kriya seminar — training in the 6 stages of Kriya.

The seminar is two days of learning the principles and techniques of Kriya. There you will get the 6 stages of Kriya from Master, a conherent system of techniques for your regular practice. The seminar is an initiation into Kriya by direct transfer of knowledge from the teacher to the disciple.

How can I prepare for the retreat?

1. At the retreat you will be practising intensively with Master, energising the body, so it is important to increase the conductivity of the cells and energy channels. If you consume heavy foods, try to switch to a lighter and healthier diet a week before the retreat, detox your body and drink more clean water.

If it seems difficult for you to give up eating meat, alcohol and tobacco, then start practising Kriya — the practice itself will help you get rid of bad habits.

2. Repeat the techniques you received at the seminar, prepare questions for Master.

3. Along with regular practice, we recommend continuing the Kriya training from the books. A list of books recommended by Master is posted HERE and also in the article “Literature for self-development”

What should I bring with me to the retreat?
  • Clothes comfortable for practice, light-coloured, made of natural fabrics. Colour is very important because it affects people’s minds. White colour unites all colours and white is something that is symbolically perceived by consciousness, not only by the individual one, but also by the collective consciousness of those around you as a spiritual colour.
  • During the practice it is recommended to sit on a surface made of natural materials, preferably wool. You can use a woollen mat, a plaid, a stole or just a woollen cloth (preferably 100% wool). If you find it difficult to sit on the floor, take a small cushion with you – something you can sit on comfortably for a long time. You don’t need to bring yoga mats – they will be available at the venue.
  • A small bottle of water. There will be a water cooler available on the premises.
  • A change of shoes to walk from the changing room to the hall.
  • A notebook and a pen to take notes.
Can I attend the retreat with my family?

Imram Kriya retreat is a wonderful opportunity for the whole family to come to a very beautiful and cozy place, to relax and to be together.

Our Retreats are visited by a huge number of families, we welcome arrival with spouses and children. The positive and joyful atmosphere at the Retreat has a favourable effect on all family members and is remembered for many years to come as the most unforgettable trip for the whole family.

It is best not to bring children with you to the practice! You can leave your children in playrooms or with your spouse, relatives or a babysitter for the period of practice.

Can pregnant women participate?

There are no contraindications for pregnant women because there is no heavy physical activity in the practice, including in the abdominal area. In addition, you will be able to ask questions about possible limitations and get advice from Master at the retreat.

What is Kriya yoga?

Kriya yoga is a tool that allows a person to accelerate their evolution. Kriya is the ultimate method of comprehending the Law of the Universe, where the true answer comes from the depths of the inner Self. The eternal and invariable Law of the Universe is expressed as Truth, Righteousness, Unconditional Love, Peace and Calm, and Non-violence. The Science of Kriya is this Universal Law in action. Through this practice, intuition is effortlessly awakened, and you can gaze into the face of your Higher Self. Kriya yoga teaches us how, by controlling the breath, to calm the mind and achieve higher states of consciousness. Kriya yoga teaches us how, by controlling the breath, to calm the mind and achieve higher states of consciousness.

Kriya yoga is the ultimate method of comprehending the Law of the Universe, where the true answer comes from the depths of the Higher Self.

Ten minutes of Kriya practice is equivalent to twenty years of natural human evolution. Fifty minutes of scientific Kriya practice is equivalent to one hundred years of spiritual evolution…

“Most people think that a yogi is a person who has developed his body’s abilities to an amazing degree: he can lie on nails, walk on fire or sit in the lotus position. But the main thing in yoga is the spiritual aspect. The Principle of Unity!

Therefore, it is important to first correct people’s misconception of yoga.

Yoga is the direct path to the HIgher. I declare this with full awareness and understanding of responsibility. Yoga is a reunion with the Supreme! It is the shortest and most direct way to self-realisation. Yoga is not a religion. It is a science in which the Highest Knowledge, from which various systems and directions have emerged, is revealed.”

Master Imram

What is meditation?

Meditation is a state beyond the mind, the personality, the ego. It is a state that allows us to get to know and befriend ourselves, to step into higher spheres of self-awareness. No thoughts exist within meditation.

It is the mind’s ability to focus on a High idea.

Meditation is a state when you are very close to the Creator, the Supreme. But there is a distance between you and the Higher Self to which you aspire. An analogy with a fire can serve as an example. Meditation is when you are sitting around a fire, but you cannot get close to it, because you are not yet ready. You enjoy the warmth and love of this divine radiance, you feel warm, happy and comfortable, you are close to it and have the opportunity to enjoy it.

Enjoying and rejoicing in it is meditation. Moreover, the Creator’s radiance constantly gives you what you so desperately need. In the case of the fire, it is warmth, in the case of divinity, it is unconditional love, strength, wisdom, peace, and everything that comes with it.

This is perfection, this is magic… And it changes you.

What is initiation

Initiation is a method of direct transfer of knowledge from the Master to the disciples, the transfer of knowledge from heart to heart. This way of transfering knowledge is very important for inner work — for deep transformation, which is what disciples come for.

Initiation into Kriya is only given at a seminar conducted by Master.

An important prerequisite for initiation is live contact between Master and disciple. During the two days of the seminar, Master imparts to each participant not only information and Kriya techniques, but also knowledge as power, spiritual energy and personal experience.

Therefore, seminar participants feel great changes in their thinking, consciousness, body, and sensations. Through deep work, a noticeable transformation occurs already during the seminar. You will have your own experience of emotions, feeling of fulfilment, a feeling that stays deep and continues to work from inside.

Spiritual power and spiritual knowledge are transferred at the seminar and the retreat. The Seminar is the first basic initiation. This initiation is like embracing a spiritual power, embracing love and the powerful creative potential of Inspiration.

The cornerstone of the Kriya teaching is the direct transfer of true knowledge and experience, through the transcendental transfer of Consciousness from the Master to everyone who comes to him. The person then continues to develop, while the Master helps.

“When you practice Kriya yoga, as you receive the transformation, you understand these processes and agree with them, you have a sense of joy that something is happening. Moreover, often people who have attended the seminar get rid of heavy karma. Through knowledge, through inner work, they come to light.”
